Text Box: Headlines:  October 2007 Tournament. The October leg of the Pumapalo tour kicked off last October 18 at the Valley Golf Club. Caesar Guerzon 69 topped the event with a net 70, besting champions Rod Liamzon 93 (Class A) and Herman Sanchez 85 (Class C), who both scored net 71s. Class B winner is Barkada Representative Rico Merioles 79. The tournament was hosted by Batch 81. (Results) September 2007 Tournament. Last year’s Pumapalo Chairman Junjun Aruego 89 bagged the September leg of the Pumapalo. Junjun shot a net 67 in the UP Barkada tournament held in Sta. Elena Golf Club last September 21. Other winners were Lito Pedrosa 62, Rico Merioles 79, and Charlie Lasa 75.(More…) Lito Pedrosa 62 still on top of the Golfer of the Year Leaderboard. With two regular tournament legs left, Brod Lito Pedrosa 62 still leads Mike Liamzon 83 in the 2007 Golfer of Year honors. Lito is now 6 points over second placer Mike and 10 and 11 points over Benny Fulgencio 65 and Tony Hidalgo 60 .
